Basin's validation features go beyond format checking. Each submission is evaluated against live data sources to confirm that contact information is genuine and reachable before it ever reaches your inbox.
What's Included
Phone Validation
Verify that a submitted phone number is real, active, and of the line type you expect. Basin checks each number against carrier data through SpamCheck.ai and can optionally restrict submissions to mobile numbers only or block VoIP lines.
Email Validation
Confirm that a submitted email address is syntactically correct, has valid DNS/MX records, and points to a reachable mailbox. Disposable and throwaway addresses can also be detected and blocked.
Validation Credits
Both phone and email validation draw from a shared credit pool. Every paid plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and additional credits can be purchased at any time. Credits never expire once purchased.
Credits and Plan Availability
Phone and email validation are available on all plans, including free. Each validation check consumes one credit from your pool.
Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance at no extra cost. Free plan users can still use validation by purchasing credits manually.
