Zapier Integration

Basin and Zapier Setup

Zapier combines triggers and actions to complete an action in one app when a trigger occurs in another app. These combos --- called "Zaps" --- complete your tasks automatically. To start automating with our Zapier integration, follow the steps below:

Step 1

You'll need both a Basin account and a Zapier account. When you start creating a Basin zap, you will be asked to connect your accounts.

Step 2

Next, you'll be asked to enter your form specific Zapier API key, which Basin generates for you when you create a form endpoint. You can locate it by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Basin account
  2. Select the form you wish to connect to Zapier from the top form dropdown menu
  3. Navigate to the Integrations page
  4. Copy your Zapier API key to the clipboard

Step 3

Paste your key back into your Zapier account and then click "Continue".

If all steps were successful, your Basin account will now be successully connected to Zapier, and the real fun can begin! Using Basin's "new submission" trigger, you can create many time saving zaps, like some popular examples below:
