How does Basin Lead Agent work?
Basin Lead Agent is designed to analyze your form submissions to evaluate them for lead quality. After providing the Agent with your business context and the criteria for a high quality lead, the Agent will analyze each submission and provide a score with a score breakdown based on your lead criteria. This gives you more insight into the quality of your leads and allows you to make more informed decisions about how to follow up on them.
Setting up Basin Lead Agent
1. Set up default lead criteria
To get started, follow the wizard to set up your default form context. The wizard will ask you a few questions to help the Agent understand your form.
2. Tweak the form's context and add quality lead components (optional)
After setting up your default form context, you can modify the form's context and add quality lead components to further customize the Agent's scoring.
Form Context This is a short description of your form and what it does. The Agent will use this context to understand the overall context of a lead.
Send GeoIP Location Info If enabled, the Agent will send the GeoIP location info of the submission to the lead agent, allowing you to include criteria based on the lead's location.
Lead Criteria This is a list of the components that make up a quality lead for your business, each with an assigned weight that the Agent will use to score the lead. The Agent will use this list to evaluate each lead and provide a score.
3. Use the Agent's score to evaluate submissions for lead quality
When your form's submissions have a lead score, the score will appear on submissions in your Basin dashboard.
This lead score value is also available as a custom merge tag, {{lead_score}}, and is shown in the default email template.
It is also added as a parameter of the submission and can be used in other webhooks and integrations.
Lead Agent Score Breakdown
A detailed breakdown of the reasoning behind the assigned lead score is available for each submission in the 'Lead Score Analysis' tab. Use this analysis to better understand how the lead score was calculated and how can tweak your lead criteria to increase the accuracy of the agent's scoring.
